What to Expect
This virtual gathering will unite the viewpoints of local Philadelphia leaders across a variety of sectors, from government and business to philanthropy and impact investing, with those of the local community. Join us as we explore together what we have learned from the Covid-19 pandemic and envision a new normal for our city – three months from now and three years from now. The theme of the event is our Heroes. Over the course of two days, we invite you to learn firsthand from our local doctors and nurses, police and fire personnel, sanitation professionals, public transit operators, grocery store workers, as well as other first responders. These Heroes kept us safe and risked their lives for us. They deserve more than our thanks; they deserve a new normal that incorporates the learnings of our collective experience into its design. We know that in order to create a new normal that benefits everyone, it requires collaboration from all facets of our community, on behalf of our community.

The event will be hosted on leading interactive technology to allow attendee networking, breakout sessions, polling, side chats, and visual and digital delivery of knowledge and relationships. Following the event, the hosts and sponsors will publish the “Philadelphia New Normal” report and share it directly with attendees. This report will use the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as an organizing framework to measure progress towards an inclusive and sustainable Philadelphia.
