Water, Water, Everywhere

This Event is Co-Hosted by ImpactPHL, Impact for Breakfast, and the CFA Society Philadelphia

In honor of Earth Day and our collective imperative to invest in our planet, ImpactPHL and the CFA Society of Philadelphia have joined forces to offer a free virtual program around investing to revitalize water systems. Water is a daily human necessity, yet access to clean and affordable water services is out of reach for millions of Americans and for so many more people around the world. The complexity of addressing water challenges is further exacerbated by poverty and climate change. The session will provide helpful insight into both the big picture of the water crisis and examples of investable solutions locally, nationally, and globally.

Margot Kane, Chief Investment Officer at Spring Point Partners, will guide a panel discussion with leaders of market-driven solutions in water to highlight how impact investors can play an important role in accelerating innovations that equitably address the water needs of communities. Nathan Boon, Senior Program Officer at the William Penn Foundation, will also discuss the Foundation’s efforts to protect and restore the Delaware River watershed.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be a thought-provoking session. As always, there will be examples of investment opportunities for our audience.
