  • The Landing Kitchen 617 Righters Ferry Rd. Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 United States (map)

Hosted by ImpactPHL

Join us on September 18th, 5 pm - 8 pm, at The Landing Kitchen in Bala Cynwyd.

This happy hour welcomes the impact community - impact investors, family offices, foundations, and advisors who want to align financial assets with values in order to build a more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient regional economy.

Chat and Learn

Hear a short announcement about the parametric flood insurance pilot that was recently funded in Philadelphia by the Climate Smart Communities Initiative (CSCI), of the Climate Resilience Fund, which facilitates the development of climate resilience plans and projects across the country.

Then connect and chat with Insurance for Good, the City of Philadelphia Office of Sustainability, and Eastwick United CDC, who are partnering to assess the feasibility of a parametric microinsurance product for residents.

This project will develop a menu of funding options for voluntary property buyouts to provide more equitable and affordable flood recovery options for Eastwick residents. At the happy hour, talk to them more about how impact investors may engage with parametric insurance in the future.
